Then, we will return to the camp, and at night we will enjoy a typical country barbecue with the Masai. During the tour we will be able to observe the Masai herding their cattle herds, visit a Masai village, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Rift fault and its lush mountain slopes. We will arrive at the camping area to set up our camp, and after lunch (picnic), we will make an excursion through the mountain accompanied by a Masai guide. However, it is relevant to keep in mind that the area does not offer the organization or infrastructure that other activities offer. The Monduli region is made up of a group of four small Masai towns: Emairete, Enguiki, Eluwai and Mfereji and it is not used to receiving tourists, so it offers a very authentic vision of rural areas, with great cultural interest that has not been highly influenced by tourism yet. The name of Monduli comes from a place where a wealthy Masai ancestor named 'Monduli' lived in the former German colony. The Monduli mountains are about 2 hours from Arusha, and during the journey, we will be able to enjoy the incredible views of the Rift Valley, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.
